Arthur Grigoryan

Arthur Grigoryan was born in Ararat, Armenia. Since 2009 he has studied at the Gh. Saryan Music School in Ararat. Since 2013 he has been studying in P. Tchaikovsky Music School. Now he studies in the class of Professor Armen Babakhanian at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. Laureate of a number of International-Republican competitions. In 2011 he participated in the Arno Babajanyan International Piano Competition, where he was awarded a Special Prize. In 2012-2013 he participated in the "Renaissance" international competitions-festivals and was awarded first prizes. In 2014 he has participated in the "Future Stars" international competition-festival in Turkey and was awarded a special prize. In 2015 he has Participated in the Arno Babajanyan International Piano Competition, where he has won the second prize. Since 2013 he has been a member of ‘’Meknark’’ target program for the development of young talented musicians in Armenia. In 2016 he has performed with the RA Philharmonic Orchestra within the framework of the 6th "New Names" festival of young musicians-performers. In 2017 he has performed with the RA Symphony Orchestra. Besides Armenia, he has taken part in concerts in a number of countries around the world. In the same year he performed with the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia. In 2017-2018 he has given a concert tour to France and Switzerland. Also took master classes from a lot of famous artist of the world. 2018 he has given concerts in Vienna and Salzburg. In 2019 he has participated in the "Riga" international competition (Latvia), where he won the first prize in the "individual" and "4 hands" groups.

 

In the same year, he gave concerts and master classes in Germany as part of the ClaviCologne International Competition Festival. In 2020 he has won 1st prizes in 1st Online “Sviatoslav Richter” international piano competition in South Korea and 5th I. Paderewski international piano competition special online edition. Also he won “Absolute Prize” in The 2nd WPTA Finland international competition in the category of Piano Duo/Duet. In 2020 he has participated in the “Putra” international online competition in Duo/Duet category and was awarded 1st prize. In 2021 he has participated in 6th Tkaczewski international online competition and has won 1st prize and special prize (East Tennessee State University Four-Year Scholarship). In the same year he was participated in the “Harmonium OnlinePlus” International piano competition and has won 1st prize and Grand Prix.
